Archway Centre

The original Methodist Hall was a particularly imposing building featuring on several commemorative pictures along with Archway Tavern.

On the opposite side forming a centre at the cross roads was the pub, while up the hill were the institutions like the Holborn Union, a state of the art hospital, and on the other side of Archway Road the Whittington Almshouses.
